Debtors Clerk
DigiCore seeking a diligent, assertive and diplomatic candidate who is a good team-player to fill the role of debtor’s clerk/ credit controller. The successful candidate must be analytically minded, hardworking and assertive and must be able to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities of the position entail :
Contacting debtors for collection and managing the follow up of promised payments. Reconciling bank statements and allocating payments correctly. Resolving internal and external queries and managing the statement runs. Working to collection targets. Various related administrative tasks.
- Matric - with Accountancy or Maths as a subject would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Accpac an advantage
- 3 years minimum experience in debtors and debt collection
- Good command of the English language both written and spoken
- Must be able to work independently
