 Customer Satisfaction Improved  
 

Established in 1895, South African Breweries has had one goal - customer satisfaction - and over the past hundred years this mission has not changed. It aims to provide the best service and customer support to its clients, no matter the size of the client's business. This is one of the primary reasons for the advent of the Chairman's Award, the most prestigious honour within the SAB ranks. Thanks to Ctrack, Denver depot manager, Leonard Volschenk, and SAB's operational department are proud winners of this sought-after award.

"The SAB Chairman's award is decided by the SAB board of directors," explains Volschenk. "All operations in SAB compete for the award by improving certain key performance indicators. We then make a presentation to the board and they come and see our operation in action. They also visit some of our customers in order to get feedback from them. This is where Ctrack has enabled us to outperform our competition, both internationally and locally."

Volschenk explains that he couldn't be happier with his choice. "They are truly a world class company and are streaks ahead of their competitors," he comments. "The Ctrack product integrated perfectly with our ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) Communication System, the innovation that won us the Chairman's Award." Although SAB deals with various large companies, it still values its smaller clients and is extremely customer orientated in this regard, hence the idea of fitting Ctrack's Ctrack product to its delivery trucks. "We installed the Ctrack in the trucks that we use to deliver to our smaller clients.

"Using this system, goods are delivered on time as it allows the truck to communicate with the customer directly. If there is a problem then it will notify them that their order will be late, which isn't often, without us having to do it from head office," explains Volschenk. "This gives us a lot more time to focus on running our business without having to worry about all the little things - that is the job of Ctrack and it makes our lives a lot easier".

SAB has been using the Ctrack for only eight months, but already it has helped to improve their business ten-fold. "We did a lot of investigation into which fleet management system would be the best suited to our needs and, after a lot of in-depth probing, we settled on Ctrack and already the results are proving to be extremely beneficial. In the eight months since we fitted the Ctrack, our customers' perception of our service has increased by 10%, which is extremely important in our business," says Volschenk.

He goes on to explain that the reason for choosing Ctrack is that the company offers the best after-sales service and client support. "Their presentation to the SAB board was of such a high calibre that there was no doubt that we would be using their services. They are extremely professional, results-driven and performance orientated," he says. "There was just no question about which product we would be using for our vehicles."
